The thoughts and work of

This is Where I Talk About Myself

I may live and work in Champaign, Illinois, but my heart belongs to the Internet.

I've been creating websites for over five years while working full-time and earning an Associate's in Applied Science from the Digital Media program at Parkland College and a Bachelor's of Science from the Web Development program at Franklin University.

What does all of that mean in the grand scheme of things? Not much unless I can actually design and build great websites. Even if you don't think they are that great, I'm working hard to get better every day. I read books, I try new techniques, and I think about other areas of design to gain perpective on the problems at hand.

About this site

I use HTML5 and CSS3 as much as possible but I am still on a slight learning curve as I developed a foundation in regular ol' XHTML and CSS. This site is designed to be as responsive and accessible as possible. If you notice something out of order, let me know. The typefaces used on the pages are Proxima Nova and Chaparral, both supplied by the web typeface service, Typekit.

You can view what this site used to look like here. It's not awful but I like this version much better.
